The Jack Lapides Essay Contest on Urodynamic and Neurourology Research was developed to recognize an individual or group doing outstanding work in the urology field. It was originally established in 1984 by Dr. Ananias Diokno, MD, former Chairman of Urology at Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak, MI).

Essay Contest Winners. For several years, the Mormon Battalion Association sponsored an essay contest for youth. Many of our contestants were members of the LDS Seminary program.
